The Milwaukee Brewers celebrate their 2022 home opener on Milwaukee's "414 Day" against the St. Louis Cardinals on Thursday.First pitch is at 4:14 p.m. at American Family Field.Coaches, staff, starters and reserve players will be on the chalk line in advance of the Home Opener for formal introduction.The Cardinals will be announced at approximately 3:48 p.m. and the Milwaukee Brewers at approximately 3:53 p.m.Tickets:A limited number of tickets remain. Day of game parking is available with credit card or cash payment. Parking lots on Opening Day will open at 1:15 p.m. CT (3 hours prior to game time) and ballpark gates will open at 2:15 p.m. (2 hours prior to game time).National Anthem:American Family Field favorite Liamani Segura, 13, will sing the national anthem for the game at approximately 4:01 p.m. She previously performed for the 2020 and 2021 home opener as well as during the postseason. She is also set to star in the Disney+ Original "High School Musical: The Series." The national anthem will be accompanied by a joint color guard featuring all six branches of the United States military and a full-field display of the American flag held by approximately 100 season seat holders and local military members.Flyover:Four Wisconsin Army National Guard Medevac helicopter units from West Bend will perform a pre-game flyover. A time was not provided.Ceremonial First Pitch: The ceremonial first pitch on Opening Day will be thrown by 12-year-old Tucker Sparks, a survivor of the Waukesha Christmas parade tragedy. It will take place at approximately 4:07 p.m.Sparks was hurt and his younger brother Jackson Sparks succumbed to his injuries. In honor of Jackson, the Brewers took part in "Jerseys for Jackson" last December. Sparks will toss the pitch to his father, Aaron.Jim Beam Hero of the Day: Milwaukee Police Det.
