Welcome to the Mineral Wells ISD Logo Usage Guidelines. Our logo serves as a powerful representation of our identity, embodying both our present identity and honoring our rich heritage through the use of our traditional colors, seal, and beloved mascot, the ram.

With nearly 3,400 students and over 500 dedicated staff members, Mineral Wells ISD is a vibrant hub of learning and growth. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our community for their unwavering support of our public schools, our staff, and the students we collectively serve.

The well earned its name due to a tale that tells of an elderly lady, who was believed to be mentally unstable, drinking from the Crazy Well twice daily and recovering from her illness.

The city's popularity for wellness peaked in the early 1900s when it was dubbed “the nation's greatest health resort.” Today, Mineral Wells remains a popular tourist destination offering various wellness activities and experiences, including hiking, spas, mineral baths, and wellness centers.

The children of this historic community attend three elementary schools, one junior high, and one high school (4A). The district also has the Mineral Wells Academy, a well-established alternative education center.

The Texas Education Agency (TEA) released the 2022 State Accountability Ratings for Mineral Wells Independent School District (MWISD) on August 15, 2022.
