Winter camping has become one of our favorite ways to celebrate our anniversary and our 1st yurt experience was absolutely fantastic! Set in a tranquil woods setting with trails all around, an outdoor firepit, grill & picnic table. Nothing but nature in every direction you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere! We brought out 2 dogs who had the best time of their lives exploring the area! All this, with a quaint yurt, fully stocked with everything you could need, lots of games and wood stove that keeps the yurt nice & toast warm. Wendy & Ronn are fantastic hosts & super kind! We are already planning our next stay late summer/early fall! We cant wait to return!! Thank you for sharing your little slice of heaven with us! ❤️

Loved that there were trails right outside the door. Great place to stay with our dog. Owner was friendly, welcoming, and very considerate. Yurt was cozy & comfortable even during big rain & wind storm.

We booked this as a last-minute end-of-summer adventure with our two little ones and were blown away. Wendy sent us dog-friendly lunch/hiking spots before we arrived and met us to check-in. She was amazing and showed us everything we needed. We loved the yurt and our kids had the time of their lives exploring the woods and meeting her animals. We will definitely be back next year!

The yurt is a great way to camp! Nice hosts, relaxing location, and nearby Mount Majors and Wentworth State Park.

Our stay at the Yurt was short but fun. I visited in winter with a group of 4 and it was a great place to cook a simple meal and enjoy each other's company away from it all. Our host was so kind and helpful giving us ideas of activities in the area and having the yurt warm and welcoming ready for our arrival. We look forward to visiting again in the summer.

My husband and his best friend went up for a night, and they both loved the privacy, homey feel, and said they would love to go back in the fall or spring when it is a little warmer.

Wendy and Ron’s yurt is a relaxing getaway. You are out in nature, surrounded by woods, but just a 15-20 minute drive from restaurants, shopping and outdoor activities. The yurt was well-furnished and comfortable, and clearly well-cared for. We enjoyed sitting out by the fire pit and listening to music. The wood stove inside was crucial for colder nights - kept us nice and cozy. The flat top grill was great for making breakfast. We went on a nice short hike up nearby Pine Mountain, which has beautiful views of Lake Winnipesaukee and surrounding mountains. Wendy and Ron are lovely people. Great communication before and during our stay but they were never obtrusive. I loved giving their mini horses, donkey and pig some treats on our way out. Thanks for your hospitality!

What a great find! This is really tucked into the woods - complete privacy - but also a quick drive to restaurants, the lane, hiking trails, etc. The yurt has everything you need, and a wood stove that gets it really toasty inside. We stayed in October on weekend with nights in the 30s and we were warm. The outhouse is surprisingly clean and the hot outdoor shower (warmer months only I think) is an excellent touch. It is beautifully landscaped with a southern-facing firepit (great for cool sunny afternoons!) and nice trails nearby for an easy walk around the property. Bed linens were there but we brought our sleeping bags for extra warmth and it was perfect. The kids had a great time playing with the games - and Lincoln logs! - and our dog loved running on the paths. A truly fantastic place to unplug. Hosts were wonderfully kind and accommodating, and easy to reach if needed. Highly recommended!

This was my first yurt adventure and had been looking forward to it for months! It was such a nice, relaxing getaway. I didn’t want to leave! I look forward to planning another trip to this yurt this winter!

I will never go back to tenting! I really enjoyed our yurt experience. Wendy and Ron are fantastic hosts. There was a slight glitch with the heater for the shower but Ron had it repaired straight away. They were easy to contact and very responsive. Thank you Wendy for the cookies. The yurt has everything you would need for a visit and it was very comfortable. We would love to visit again, maybe when the snow flies.

We loved our stay at the yurt! It was the perfect mix of getting away to the woods, while still having some comforts of home. Wendy and Ron were great hosts- they showed us how to work everything, like the awesome hot, outdoor shower and the wood stove, and even let our daughter brush the miniature horses and meet the other animals. We enjoyed cooking dinner on the flat top grill, making s'mores at the fire pit, and reading by candlelight in the evenings. Perfect!

We stayed just one night in August 2022 and loved it! Wendy was fabulous with her communication and Ross did a wonderful job showing us to the yurt and explaining how the shower works. Very accommodating! It’s very secluded and it was fun to be all alone and have such a comfortable place to ‘camp’ or should I say, glamp! Thanks for making our first yurt experience such a positive one. I’d recommend it for sure!

Had a great time staying at this off grid yurt tucked away in the woods. Our hosts were very friendly and available yet completely unobtrusive. Wendy even offered suggestions during our 5 day stay as to places to see or eat. They’ve truly thought of everything you might need during your stay. During our stay, we experienced both very hot weather and one full day of heavy rain. Through it all we stayed cool enough under the forest canopy as well as dry and watertight during the storm. A very quiet, serene getaway very close to Alton Bay, Wolfeboro, and all that Lake Winnie has to offer. Slow down and unplug. You won’t regret it.

Tranquil And a relaxing place.

We loved our stay in the yurt! Our 5 and 3 year old were delighted with everything. We explored, made a fire and when it came time to pack up, there were toys and art supplies that kept the littles occupied! We would love to stay again.

This yurt is a great place to get away from it all and relax. We loved our visit and can’t wait to return.

Came back for a second time with my dog and a couple of friends and hope to keep coming back again and again! The yurt has a nice back area with a fire pit overlooking the marsh. Wendy and Ron are wonderful and extremely accommodating. The mini-horses are so sweet and adorable! Highly recommend.
